Good New York/New Jersey Mexican
Mexican food is one of those where I could eat it 2 or 3 nights a week, no problem, if it is good! We were just in California and had some damn good Mexican, but I find that the places we go are just as good! If you are in the mood for good Mexican I'll point you in the right direction!
- MaryAnn's - 18th and 8th - I have eaten here so many times I can't even tell you and I have never been disappointed...EVER! This place is consistently good. They have excellent Margaritas, salsa, burritos, chips...everything! The only bad thing is that I stuff myself everytime we go and then I am so full I can't stand it! I always get the Tampico burrito or the Montezuma. Good Stuff!!! If you do go make sure you bring cash because they don't accept anything else. Good thing they are reasonable!
- Mission Burrito - Hoboken - 4th between Garden and Park - This is a little place that has about 2 tables so we always carry it out. The burritos are huge and we think very tasty. I think a burrito is 8.00 which isn't bad considering it is heavy as hell!
- East L.A. - Hoboken - 508 Washington - We ate here once because it is always packed. I wasn't disappointed, but I have to eat here again to give it my full opinion of whether it is really good or not. You won't be disappointed if you go, that's for sure, but I can't remember how crazy I was about it!
