Good New York/New Jersey Bakeries

Considering I used to bake for a living I tend to be a little picky about bakeries. I just get a little pissy when I go to a bakery and get a cookie and it tastes like crap. I really get angry when I order a birthday cake for someone and it tastes like crap! It's not hard to make a good cake and good icing, I know, I used to do it all the time!!! That is one thing that is very shocking about being here is that there are so many crappy bakeries. So, sadly I only have one recommendation for you and I don't think you will be disappointed! I do have a few more places to scope out...I'll let you know what I come up with!
