So, I guess if you don't know me, you are wondering who I am!  Well, I will let you know.  My name is Jill.  I am 24 years old, and as you just read I recently moved to New Jersey.  I was a pastry chef in St. Louis and I must say I enjoyed it.  However, being surrounded by computer geeks (no offense to those just mentioned!) it rubbed off.  I wanted something new and I liked being on the computer.  So, I took a few classes, studied A LOT, and next thing I knew I was programming!

Well, not exactly.  Getting that first job is a B&%!@.  So, I went to work at a Shoe Company where I was supposed to be the assistant and ended up developing a program by myself.  Doing it alone gave me the experience I needed to get a true full time programming position.  That was the best thing I could have ever done for myself.  I learned every aspect of developing by working alone.  It was very tough but I'm glad I did it.  

 So, what am I interested in?  Hard to say.  My interests change with the weather.  That keeps me interested!  But, for now, here are a few things that I like.

New York-Of Course It's a nice place to visit....If I'm gonna live in New Jersey I'm gonna live as close to the Big Apple as possible.  You don't think I could come all this way and not work in Manhattan did you?                                                                   This isn't the best picture but you get the point!

       

Baking  Every-once-in-a-while I miss making all kinds of yummy stuff.  So, every now and then I will bust out in my little kitchen and make something.  Luckily, I have alot of people who will eat it.  Otherwise, I would be a big girl!

Outdoorsy stuff Doing stuff outdoors is always fun (except in the winter!).  This summer has been fun.  I did a ton of deep-sea fishing.  Click here if you want info on my favorite boat!  I have more fish in my freezer than I know what to do with.  Roller-blading is fun to.  There are so many parks to blade to here.  I'm still working on the getting good part-but that's OK.  That's what all of the pads are for!

Programming  You have to have an interest in your profession otherwise you suck at it!  It's really cool to start with basically nothing and make this really cool, functional thing that does exactly what you want it to do, when you want it to do it (or at least you hope!).

Speaking of which.......Below is a link to see new things that I am testing out.  Some things will be cool other things may not even work! (That's why it's called test page!)  If you want to check it out go for it but I can't guarantee it's gonna be exciting!
